Anirban Sharma, Principal and Founder
Anirban is the Founder and a Principal at Zaloni. He has been instrumental in the growth of the solution areas, acquisition of new clients, overseeing client engagements and leading process improvement. Having worked in management positions at companies like NetApp, Fujitsu and others, Anirban brings in technology experience along with business development, product execution, and service delivery of Data center, Telecom and Research Enterprise solutions. He has experience in a wide array of technologies from Infrastructure, Web 2.0 Collaboration to Content Management and Open source applications. He has partnered with business and sales teams to enable revenue and increase foot print at large enterprise accounts. Prior to starting Zaloni, Anirban was the Senior Manager of Rapid Response Engineering(RRE) at NetApp, where he managed a global team, developing custom, agile and cost effective solutions for NetApp's major accounts including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Bank of America, British Telecom, Thompson Reuters, Cisco Systems, Agilent, McAfee and others.
Anirban is the co-author of Java in Telecommunications (Wiley, ISBN-0471498262) and holds two patents in infrastructure technology. He has an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Texas at Dallas.
Bijoy Bora, Principal and Co-founder
Bijoy is the Co-founder and a Principal at Zaloni. He is responsible for managing and providing strategic direction of Zaloni’s overall portfolio of services, solutions and corporate development that drive the company’s growth. He also focuses on Business development, client engagements and project deliverables to enable clients optimize IT investments. He has extensively worked in the area of Enterprise Solutions and contributed to software development, delivery and implementation across global operations providing technical expertise and working direction to professionals across various IT and business units in Oil, Finance, Telecom and other services sector.
Before co-founding Zaloni, Bijoy worked with SingTel Optus in the Application Architecture group and earlier in their mobile content group. Previously he worked with IBM in their Rational Software Group in the Advisory role associated with Rational Labs where he interacted with worldwide clients to support and promote IBM’s Rational brand of products. He worked with organizations like the Fleet Air Arm of the British Navy and corporate houses like the Bank of America, Fujitsu, Cap Gemini, Providian Financials, Southwestern Bell and others. In the early stage of his career he worked with Indian Oil Corporation and the National Informatics Center. He also worked with technology startup companies in the Silicon Valley where he contributed mainly in the design, development and implementation of Enterprise Adapters. He has lived and worked in India, UK, US and Australia.
Bijoy holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India and a Masters in Engineering Management from the University Of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
