Zaloni Leadership




Ben Sharma is CEO and co-founder of Zaloni. He is a passionate technologist and thought leader in big data, analytics and enterprise infrastructure solutions. Having previously worked in technology leadership at NetApp, Fujitsu and others, Ben’s expertise ranges from business development to production deployment in a wide array of technologies including Hadoop, HBase, databases, virtualization and storage. Ben is the co-author of Java in Telecommunications and holds two patents. He received his MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas.




Bijoy Bora is COO and co-founder of Zaloni. Previously Bijoy held positions with Optus, IBM, Bank Of America, South Western Bell, Fujitsu, Cap Gemini IOC and NIC, in both the technology and services domains. Bijoy has also worked at multiple Silicon Valley startups designing and developing Enterprise software. Bijoy has worked and lived in India, the UK, Australia and the US. Bijoy holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from NERIST India, and a Masters in Engineering Management from University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.




Dan Edelson serves as CFO of Zaloni. During his career, Dan has held various financial and executive positions with IBM, Intuit, Medfusion, Elumens, Community Care of North Carolina, and TruePilot. He has served on the Board of several high-tech start-up companies, and is Treasurer and Board member for a Cary, NC nonprofit organization. Dan holds an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University, and he received his BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton.



Vice President, Engineering

Yin Guo serves as VP of Engineering for Zaloni. In his role he leads Zaloni’s global Product Development and Solutions Delivery team. Prior to joining Zaloni, Yin led the global software development team at Ciena Corp’s optical transport division. Yin also held various software development management positions at Nortel. Yin received his BS in Physics from Peking University, and his MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.



Vice President, Marketing

Kelly Schupp is Vice President of Marketing for Zaloni. Kelly has 20 years of experience in the enterprise software and technology industry. She has held a variety of global marketing leadership roles, and previously worked at IBM, Micromuse and Porter Novelli. Kelly serves as Zaloni’s brand steward and is deeply passionate about the impact of data-driven marketing. Kelly has a BS from Vanderbilt University and a Masters from Boston University.



Vice President, Product Management

Scott Gidley is Vice President of Product Management for Zaloni, where he is responsible for the strategy and roadmap of existing and future products within the Zaloni portfolio. Scott is a nearly 20 year veteran of the data management software and services market. Prior to joining Zaloni, Scott served as senior director of product management at SAS and was previously CTO and cofounder of DataFlux Corporation. Scott received his BS in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh.


Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

Tony Fisher is Zaloni’s Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. Tony has been in the data management business for over 25 years, most recently as the Chief Technology Officer for the Progress Software data management business. Prior, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of DataFlux Corporation, a SAS Company, where he guided the company through tremendous growth as a market-leading provider of data quality and data integration. Tony is a sought after speaker and author. He earned a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Duke University.
